It should be no surprise to any Elliot Laker that ARIEL's silent auction would feature items that appeal to your inner artist. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to share an evening with friends that results in a unique work of art all your own for each guest. Or...bid on this for a children's birthday party experience!
Julie Merk is a well-known local art educator and painter. She knows how to bring out the best in anyone and make it fun! ARIEL thanks her for this generous donation to our silent auction. If you want to bid on the paint party, you must attend the Winterfest Kick-off on February 9, 2024. Learn more by opening this link. When the page opens, click on the plus sign beside the word description to read about the event. By the way, if you have an item to donate to our silent auction email us, by using the button.

Murray Finn is a local woodworker with a reputation for making beautiful boxes. He has donated two of them to our silent auction. They will go to the highest bidders. Thank you, Murray! The silent auction is part of the Winterfest Kick-off for 2024. The opening night event starts at 6:30 PM, with Liam Kearney entertaining at 7:30 PM. There will be a cash bar. Tickets include a charcuterie-style buffet. ARIEL is hosting the event, which is a fundraiser for the not-for-profit.
You must attend the event to bid on the silent auction items. Buy your tickets by clicking here. All tickets are general admission and cost $35 each. If you would prefer to pay cash for your tickets, visit Alpine Flowers in Paris Plaza to purchase. Do you recognize the massive rock depicted in the image above? Anyone who has called Elliot Lake home will instantly recognize it. Artist Linda Finn, a resident for decades, was inspired by that icon to paint "more than meets the eye."
ARIEL is proud to announce that a one-of-a-kind find featuring Linda's painting will be available for bids at our Winterfest Kick-off silent auction. The nationally known artist donated the image for the 1014 piece puzzle. One puzzle only is being produced specifically for this event. You have to be there to bid. Order tickets online. Linda is also the driving force behind the Winterfest Kick-off, a fundraiser for ARIEL. She invited Liam Kearney to come home to entertain us. We are thrilled he agreed. His show starts at 7:30 PM, February 9, 2024. The doors of Collins Hall will open at 6:30 PM to give you plenty of time to bid on auction items, sip a beverage (cash bar) and nibble on the charcuterie-style buffet included in the ticket price. You can purchase tickets online or at Alpine Flowers in Paris Plaza. The tickets ($35 per person) are cash only at Alpine. There will be other one-of-a-kind finds on the silent auction tables. Tomorrow's post will feature a collectible hand-crafted wooden box. |
