Summer arrives Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Ever since elementary school we have been taught June 21 is the first day of summer.  Sometimes it is, but not always. 2024 is a .not always year. The longest day of the year arrives in three days.  According to my phone, the high temperature will be 28 and there is a 56% chance of rain. How are you going to celebrate the summer solstice?

ARIEL is celebrating by planning for the City's 70th anniversary in 2025. We are contributing an activity - The Cabin Fever Creative Expo. City residents are going to share their creativity with their neighbours in an interactive and immersive way

During the three day event, participants can learn a new skill, polish an old one and get out of the house.  April 25 to 27, 2025 - is going to be a weekend to remember.
