Clark Kooning, the president of the Elliot Lake Model Railroad Club, is a man of many skills. Clark is certified by the National Model Railroad Association as Master Model Railroader who gives clinics across North America. Yes, the City is lucky to have Clark as a resource for our creative community.
June 14, 2025 only 12 Elliot Lakers can learn from Clark about how airbrushes work, types of paints that can be used, and the relationship of air, paint and distance. How cool is that? The clinic costs $20 per person. Because seats are limited, it is first come, first served. Clark will lead a discussion about the uses of airbrushes and applications. Whether your are a hobbyist, an artist, crafter or model railroader, this clinic will be invaluable. You have a choice of two sessions: 9 to noon or 1 to 4 PM. Each clinic will have a maximum of six students. Each student will have the opportunity to use an airbrush with personal instruction. In addition, students will learn how to take apart and clean an airbrush. This is literally a hands-on clinic! By the end of each session, students will have an overview of several different types of airbrushes available. Participants will have gained the knowledge needed to determine whether airbrushing is for them.
