The Leacock Museum in Orillia wants you to know that the 9th annual K. Valerie Memorial Poetry Celebration contest is open for entries. Thee Leacock Museum is a National Historic Site dedicated to honouring the memory and legacy of Canadian literary humorist, Stephen Leacock. The museum hosts a variety of events and programs, all with a literary focus.

The contest is open to poets of all ages and experience levels across Ontario in three categories: Elementary, Intermediate, and Adult, with cash prizes awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category.
